Our Fees

Some of our professional services on an hourly rate basis and a fixed fee range basis.

A fixed fee range is are fee range that is set and will not be varied upwards.  If the matter becomes complex for some unexpected reason, we will write to you to advise of any additional charges.

We will provide you with a fee estimate after a discussion of your circumstances and requirements.

Partners – -£300 – £400 per hour

Consultant Solicitors – £350 – £450 per hour

Associate Solicitors – £300 – £400 per hour

Paralegals – £150.00

The exact number of hours required or fixed fee range will depend on the circumstances in your case, such as [note this list is not exhaustive]

The number of documents that we need to consider and obtain from you

The number of witnesses or other third parties

The language you speak

Whether you are applying with other family members

Whether it is a fast-tracked/premium application

Where there is an adverse immigration history

Where there is criminality

VAT

Charging VAT with immigration matters can be complex as it will depend on where you are and what immigration permission you have. We will confirm in writing whether VAT (at a rate of 20%) is payable when we have been instructed.

What services are included

The work will involve:

Discussing your circumstances in details

Giving you advice about the immigration requirements and whether you meet the criteria

Giving you a detailed list of documents/templates and information to be provided

Reviewing the supporting documents

Liaising with third parties in obtaining supporting documents

Completing the online application form(s),

Submitting the application forms

Arranging any necessary appointments

Drafting a detailed representation cover letter

Keeping you updated up to the date of the decision

Disbursements (note these are not included the firm’s professional fees)

A disbursement cost is a cost related to your matter. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.  Disbursements include but are not limited to:

Application visa fees

Immigration Health Surcharge

Biometric Enrolment fee

Interpreters/Translation fees

Expert reports

We will always write to you first to advise of the costs before proceeding with the payment of disbursements.

Interpreters

These are difficult to estimate. For example, sometimes an interpreter is required for a few hours, and other applications require a higher number of hours. 

You can, in most cases, bring a friend or another community figure to come and help interpret.  You do not always have to use an interpreter of our choice.

How long will my application take?

We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application, and we would refer you to the Home Office’s current standards and processing times.

Once we have taken your instructions, received your full supporting documents and fees, we will be able to submit your application to the Home Office within three weeks of you instructing us, but we will let you know at the earliest opportunity if it is likely to take longer than this. 

The time it takes will be subject to how quickly all relevant information and documentation takes to collate.  If there is a deadline in which you require an application to be submitted, we would work with you to complete and ensure it is submitted in time.

Please note the anticipated number of hours and fees are an estimate based on the facts above. All applications are likely to vary, and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.

Please be advised that we will not issue any refund if you withdraw your instructions. Furthermore, please note that the prices quoted do not include the Home Office fee. Clients will be responsible for paying the Home Office fees/appeal fees (HO fees vary depending on the type of the application).
